I grew up in New Orleans and attended Mater Dolorosa Catholic grade school and De La Salle high school. My interest in the Catholic church closings was sparked because of a love for tradition and the various neighborhoods in this unique city. I understand the value of heritage more than ever following Hurricane Katrina, to help us identify who we are now and direct us to the future we wish to create.
